The Brewery is commited to a "green business" concept This means an ongoing effort to reduce our use of precious resources and lighten our waste "foot print" . You can read about the projects we've already undertaken and see what we're working on for the future.
- Our company truck is powered by waste vegetable oil from our fryers.
- Excess used oil is donated to other vegetable conversion vehicles or used by a biodiesel cooperative
- We've eliminated all incandescent light bulbs. We've switched to low watt flourescent or LED bulbs.
- We've installed an enviromentally friendly septic treatment system.
- We have the lowest water consumption commercial dishwasher available.
- We've installed water saving plumbing fixtures in the restrooms. This includes a waterless hygenic urinal.
- We recycle all cardboard, bottles and cans.
- The spent (used) grain from our brewery goes to feed pigs and cows in our local community.
- We shop at the local farmers markets. We use only local food vendors .

- Our restaurant has eliminated the use of hydrogenated oils in in our cooking and frying.
- Future projects we're working on are; a bio diesel generator, solar water collection system, solar electrical generation system, further waste reduction and re-use through composting.
